2019-20 PTC Meetings:

Please join us for our monthly meetings at these locations. Meeting last about one hour. This is a great way to get involved in our school communities and know what is happening around your child's school. See you there!

TBD
The PTC supports our school by raising funds through two main activities each year:

Walk-A-Thon

Students collect pledges for two weeks. On the day of the walkathon, the entire student body participates in half hour sessions by walking (skipping, walking backwards, etc.) around the perimeter of the gym. The students have a wonderful time, get some physical activity, earn prizes, and all work together to support our school.

Carnival

The PTC also works collaboratively with South Prairie Elementary PTC (the grade 2-3 building) to host a carnival each May. Students from both buildings are invited to sell raffle tickets for the carnival. Over 100 prizes are available through the raffle. The carnival is hosted by South Prairie Elementary, but all parents are involved in the collecting of tickets and money, the set up, working in booths, preparing food, and cleaning up. The profits are then shared by the two PTC's. The carnival is a wonderful opportunity for the students and parents from both schools to meet each other and have fun together. It truly is a community event!

This year's carnival will be held on TBD. See you there!

Funds Support Our School

The PTC provides each teacher $100.00 annually to be used at the teacher's discretion. These funds often purchase special snacks, additional school supplies, and/or craft materials that cannot be purchased by the school. In addition the PTC has provided money to each teacher for food and supplies for holiday parties.
