Liberty and South Prairie's Mission Statement

Provide a positive, safe environment for learning.  Develop creative, competent, self‑directed thinkers.  Prepare our children for an information‑rich future.  Build self‑confidence and success through physical and mental well-being.  Involve students in cultural experiences in the arts.  Appreciate cultural diversity and individual uniqueness through teacher, parent and community involvement.

School Office Hours

Liberty – Monday – Friday……7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. South Prairie - Monday – Friday…7:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. 
Parents are requested to pick up their children at the front office rather than wait outside the classroom and/or outside the building.  If someone else is going to pick up your child, a written note is required.  Written permission is also needed for your child to go anyplace other than regular transportation home.  Please notify the South Prairie School office at 503-842-8401 or Liberty School Office at 503-842-7501 before 1:00 p.m. if there is a change in your child’s daily transportation.  Verbal messages from your child will NOT be accepted.
**It is required that we have your correct phone number and address for emergencies**

Monday Late Start….9:15 a.m.–3:15 p.m.                                     Monday Late Start…9:00 a.m.– 3:00 p.m.                
Tuesday-Friday….8:15 a.m.–3:15 p.m.                                            Tuesday-Friday……8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.


**Liberty ~ Doors open at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday-Friday, 8:50 a.m. Monday** 
Doors will remain locked until 7:50 a.m.  Adult supervision is not provided until 7:50 a.m.

**South Prairie ~ Doors open at 7:35 a.m. Tuesday-Friday, 8:35 a.m. Monday**
Doors will remain locked until 7:35 a.m.  Adult supervision is not provided until 7:35 a.m.  

Parents may only drop off students in the bus loading zone if NO buses are there.  There is NO parking at any time in the bus loading zone.  Students will walk into the building and go to the gym or to breakfast.
