Head Lice Checks

Tillamook School District #9 has a strict policy regarding head lice and nits.  Routine checks of all students will be performed in September, January, and April.  As needed or as requested by staff members, classroom checks will be performed as well.  If your child is found to have live lice in their hair, you will be contacted to pick them up.  After treatment, your child will be re-checked in the office before being admitted to class.  As the adult, you are required to stay until the re-check is completed and the child is found to be lice free.
